Getting started
From a first call to a connected farm
Step 1
Discovery call
We talk about your crops, your fields, how you irrigate and what you want to improve. You get an honest view of what Hexilia can do for you today.
Step 2
Site visit and plan
We walk the fields, check soil, water sources and mobile coverage, and propose where each sensor, the weather station and the gateway should go.
Step 3
Installation
Our team installs the soil probes, the weather station, the gateway and the irrigation controllers, and checks that every device reports.
Step 4
App setup and training
We set up your fields, users and alerts in the web and mobile apps, and train your team on the screens they will use every day.
Step 5
Support and reports
We monitor the devices with you, adjust thresholds after the first weeks, and review the season's reports together.
The highlighted parts are the ones installed or used at this step.
What's in a typical kit
- Soil probes
- Moisture, temperature and salinity at several depths, one per irrigation block or soil type.
- Weather station
- Wind, rain, air temperature and humidity measured on your own field.
- Field gateway
- Collects every device's readings and sends them to your private cloud.
- Irrigation controllers
- Remote control of pumps and valves from the apps, on a schedule or on thresholds.
- Web and mobile apps
- Accounts for your team, with roles, alerts and reports.
What we need from you
- A map or a sketch of your fields and irrigation blocks
- Access to the fields and water sources for the site visit
- A contact person on the farm during installation
- Mobile coverage at one point on the farm, or a site for our long-range gateway
